Participant Activities
Our team at Options for Life believes community engagement is the key to fully integrating Participants. Daily outings may include sports, park walks, and cooking, yoga, or music classes. Each week, groups also choose a special activity with friends in the program, such as bowling, watching a movie, or visiting the beach.
We also plan larger events for the entire program to enjoy together, such as Dodgers games, amusement parks, and tours like the SoFi Stadium Tour.
On Fridays, Participants are encouraged to bring $15 to order a meal. Many have progressed from needing assistance to confidently placing and paying for their own orders independently.

Volunteer Work
Participants have opportunities to volunteer multiple times each week. We believe volunteering builds confidence and encourages meaningful engagement within the community.

Transportation
Options For Life provides daily transportation before and after program hours. This service reduces stress for caregivers, eliminates the need for third-party transportation, and allows more time for Participant interaction. 🚐
Virtual Program
As a result of the COVID-19 safer-at-home order, Options For Life launched a five-day-per-week virtual program in May 2020. It has helped Participants stay active and connected, providing comfort for those not ready or able to return to in-person programming. We also continue to offer it for Participants with busy schedules or those who are in school. 💻
